African Touch n4

Description

I have always had a big heart for the black continent. But I do have a real bound with Africa since I have an adopted daughter with roots in Ethiopea.I am really inspired by the beautiful handmade jewelry of African Women.

In this collection I try to evoque a little glimpse of their beautiful adornments.
I work with:
- fabric and wool
- African Trade beads
- ceramic beads
- Ethiopean silver
- repurposed vintage beads

Textile necklace in lilac, plum and mustard shades:
a mix of:

- handmade felted pebbles
- green turquoise stones
- Ehtiopean silver beads
- handmade silk (fairtrade) beads
- Vintage Ethiopean resin beads
- distressed wooden beads

The necklace closes with an blue enameled coco button and heas a lenght of 82 cm/32 inches.
