Luthien Tinuviel - handspun artyarn inspired by Tolkien LotR
Description
I browsed through paintings from Ted Nasmith and John Howe (very pretty Tolkien inspired works!) and I came across their illustriations of Lúthien Tinúviel, who shortly appears in a song Aragon sings in the Fellowship of the Ring and which I always liked.So I spun this yarn from 3 different batts for that scene of Lúthien dancing in the forest, silver starlight sparkling in her shadowy hair.
It consists of black (merino, alpaca, black angelina, some white silk, silver thread and clear bohemian glass beads), blue (blue & grey merino, golden sequins and blue bohemian glass beads) and green (merino and wensleydale, light green bohemian glass beads and green leaf sequins) stripes.
