This hair and Scalp Butter can also double as a nourishing Body Butter emollient. It's very light and non greasy and chock full of herbs, organic butter and oils to nourish, lubricate and moisturize your skin and scalp.

Absorbs quickly and easily into the skin without a heavy greasy feel. It's not heavy and won't weigh your hair down.

Very soothing if you have dry itchy flaky scalp.

When Shea Butter has a change in temperature... warm to cold it changes the texture of it. Shea butter will crystalize and form little round dots. This creates a grainy texture in the product. However, The grainy texture is not an indication of poor quality or that the butter has "gone bad". Like most things that are pure and natural, they react to their environment. It does not change its effectiveness. When it comes into contact with your skin it will quickly melt on contact and become a soft consistency again. This is very common with shea butter and natural products. I keep my butters in the fridge to help avoid this from happening.

You can slowly heat the butter until it is completely melted, and cool it quickly in the refrigerator. Do not heat above what is needed to re-melt. This should take care of the white dots and grainy texture. The hair butter will last about a year if kept dry and away from water.

I also added: Unrefined Raw Shea Butter, Organic Unrefined Cocoa Butter, First Cold Press Food Grade Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Organic Sesame Oil, Organic Avocado Oil, Organic Food Grade Coconut Oil, Pure Unrefined and Filtered Bees Wax.
