These are sea opal (opalite) beads wrapped with sterling silver wire on swirling sterling silver wires.My mom turned me on to sea opals this winter and I love working with them!
Sea opals (or also known as Opalite) is a man-made semi-precious stone. I love this stone! It is so wonderfully luminous and the colors change when you move or on different backgrounds. It goes well with everything! Just a luscious, rich stone!
