The pattern is fairly easy but requires these skills:
-knit and purl
-knit in the round
-increasing
-decreasing
-three-needle bind off (step by step instructions included)
-simple embroidery of facial details
-some simple crochet (chain and single crochet) for the frog's tongue and the lion's mane.
