Description

INTRODUCING my new line of rippled copper enameled rings. I have been making bracelets with the "drippy" edge for about six months, but I am now making rings and simply love them! They have been received with wonderful compliments and are exclusively available from Charmed I'm Sure! They feel and look terrific! This one is a size 8, but I can approximate the same colors in just about any whole size. If you want a different color or size, please leave a comment in the buyer's note or send me a convo.

LOVING BLUE rippled enameled ring is an especially eye-catching piece of jewelry because of its beautiful colors, unique width, and weight. LOVING BLUE, with its rich cobalt blue opaque enamel, would look great with jeans or dressier clothes for a night on the town! A matching bangle would look fabulous, too!

Enameled front & back in my studio, LOVING BLUE was made from highly durable heavy-duty and hand cut 16 gauge copper. My enameled jewelry pieces are strong enough to resist bending, chipping or cracking of the fine glass enameled coating.

LOVING BLUE measures 1/4 to 1/2 inches wide and is a size 8. Other sizes/colors available with up to a 3 - 4 day delay in mailing.

Originally inspired by a class entitled "Enamel on Copper Jewelry" taught by Richard Salley at the 2008 Art & Soul Retreat in Portland, Oregon, I have further pursued the fine art of enameling. In addition, I am extremely fortunate to be able to study under Averill Shepps and Linda Darty, world famous enamelists.
I have also been working with George Waricher, an enamelist for over 30 years, from the Carlisle, PA, Arts Center.

My jewelry can also be purchased at the Village Artisans Gallery in historic Boiling Springs, PA. ~ http://www.villageartisansgallery.com/, at Hodgepodgery in Harrisburg, PA, at Off the Wall Elegance in Carlisle, PA & the Carlisle Arts Learning Center.

As an artist, I have found enameling to be particularly empowering, allowing me much variety in color, shape, & texture. It is not unusual to have the raw metal material guide me to its end form. It is truly thrilling to experience the results of combining glass powders and copper or steel after firing in a 1500 degree kiln. No two pieces are exactly alike & each creation has a special gleaming personality of its own!
