Miniature hand knit christmas stocking in pillar box red

So you're keeping it handmade this Christmas...? Show some crafty spirit on the outside of your packages, too, with these handknit stockings.

Here's a simple red stocking, the colour of a British pillar box or a particularly delicious ripe tomato. It has a loop for hanging and would also look pretty on your tree, as part of your card display, or for extra cuteness, add a little note and surprise a loved one.

Each stocking measures 1 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches (3cm x 4cm) and is made from commercially-sourced extra fine merino wool yarn remnants from my other projects.
