Frame your face in this ultra-romantic portrait hat, reminiscent of the Italian Reniassance in the 14-1500's. I have taken the shapes of the hats worn by the Italian nobility, and feminized them. This sensous hat is done in a rich palette of burgundy velveteen, and a Baroque style damask. The brooch will be differnt, as this hat has sold, and a duplicate will come to you with a vintage brooch. It is an era in the history of art that is dear to my DNA! I have traced my mother's Orsini lineage back to the Medici Dynasty in Florence, Itay! Lorenzo de Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, married Clarice Orsini in the late 1400's.
