SJK VINTAGE -- Early Egypt Revival Scarab and Brass Filigree Clip On Earrings

Egypt revival jewelry was especially popular in the 1920's and 1970's -- and it seems to be making a comeback again today.

These earrings are old -- much older than the 1970's. I would date them in the 1940's or earlier.

Really funky and very vintage turquoise blue carved plastic scarabs are mounted in a super cool setting made of brass, in a highly textured filigree pattern. The best bits are the prongs that hold the scarabs in place. Fairly lightweight with strong springy clips. Someone has put bumper pads that can be removed easily.

Scarabs are carved bakelite or lucite, I can never tell. Scarabs measure one inch by a little over 1/2 inch wide. Total earring diameter is 1.5 inches.

I live in a non-smoking/pet-free home and ship within three business days of receipt of payment.
