Description
not just violet -- ultraviolet.on a level beyond our capacity to see, just before it becomes an x-ray, is the ultraviolet wavelength. burning and psychedelic, it is a part of light, a part of the sun - it soaks into our skin and is a part of us.
this ring is made of sterling silver, set with an amazing slab of amethyst; an ultraviolet of the deepest purple, it flares with mesmerizing rays!
the setting measures 21mm across. it sits atop a wide (16mm) band, layered with a hatched band, as well as a strip of 14 karat gold (!!). it's also stamped on the inside with the word "ultraviolet".
it is a size 7-3/4, though the width of the band will make it fit quite a bit snugger than that!
