Dusty Pink and Brown Tulle Floral Trim Hat Bonnet Circa 1930s

Lovely bonnet! I have always loved this color combination of dusty pink and brown. This is a wool hat, with a very stylish brim full of gathered brown tulle and paper and fabric posies all around. At the back is a brown velvet cord bow. The shape is sort of cloche-like, as it was meant to be worn tight to the head, with the front brim slightly up. Inside is a navy blue grosgrain ribbon band and a Union label.

The condition is good but with a few issues, after all this is a 70 year old hat! The pink wool is slightly faded, as compared to the interior, and the crown has a wee bit of moth damage, just tiny marks, nothing big. No rips in the tulle though, and the flowers are all in good condition. The brown velvet tie has one area where the stitching has come undone.
No odors, stains, tears, crushes or other damage. A fine little bonnet ready to wear to your next tea party.

3 1/2 inches deep crown
5 inch wide tulle
21 inches inside circumference
This hat will fit a head that is 21 inches in circumference or smaller, so it is a women's size Small.
