Mauve Pink Maiden Marion Hat Circa 1950s
Description
This is a great little skull cap with a fancy edging all around, a point in the back and a high crown accenting the velvet gathers in the front. It is missing its original tulle face-covering. The form is stiff and the inside is lined with a fabulous satin lace printed fabric. This would make a great base for a floral artist's concoction.The condition is good, in that it has no real damage for a 55 year old hat other than the missing tulle. But the crown of the hat has faint marks in the velvet, nothing bad,and there is alittle dirt staining around the inside points.
Measurements are: 22 1/4 inch circumference
2 1/2 inch deep crown
each point is 2 inches by 2 inches
