Description

A pastel drawing done on Wallis paper of a nude male model.

I started out with a wash of sepia toned watercolor, defining the large shapes of shadow and light. I layered different blues and browns to build his figure.

I love the expression on his face and the casual gesture of his hand.

Wallis paper is an Archival sanded paper that meets Library of Congress standards for permanence. Wallis paper also suggests that these pieces can be framed with or without glass (although...I still like to put glass on my pastels!)

The original paper size is 12" x 18". It will come matted to 18" x 24". Will ship flat, and signed by me, the artist.
