This yunomi has been thrown in a fine grained cone 6 Laguna B-Mix, fired with handcrafted studio glazes, and refired with inhouse studio decals.

Ok, ok... this one is admittedly more than a bit tongue in cheek than usual, but I just couldn’t resist… I have to say I’ve enjoyed a few well placed chuckles with this series.

This is part of a very small series of works that I’ve made for this season. The surface design has been created using multiple toner based decals that have been re-fired into the glaze.

This is durable, dishwasher safe, lead-free, and beautiful…

This truly makes an excellent personal gift for the intrepid souls in our lives!
