Handwoven Recycled Sweater Mixed Fibre Rag Rug

Description

Gorgeous plaid rag rug runner woven with superwash merino wool, a little cashmere, lambswool, silk, cotton and acrylic. A nice mix of fibre, it really works very well together! Woven by me on a converted upright loom, using textile for both warp and weft. It is 100% recycled!

This rug is 28" X 49" (71.1 cm x 124.5 cm), woven edge to woven edge, not including the wool fringe. It is very dense and cushy underfoot, it feels wonderful. It is a dark, gorgeous earthy coloured rug. It has a range of mulberry, red, plum, purple, wine and burgandy! I love it!

This rug can be dry cleaned, hand washed in room temperature water, or on the gentle cycle in a front loading washing machine, in warm water, no hot or cold. Please hang to dry or lay flat to dry.

The slippers on the rug are my old well loved felted Finnish slippers, and they are not for sale! They are there for display and to help show the size of the rug.
