History: Known as “The Pink House,” this flamboyant residence was built in 1868 by E. B. Hall, a successful pharmacist and amateur paleontologist. This house is an example of the Italianate style and was inspired by a villa seen by Hall while honeymooning at Lake Como. It is a beautiful example of gingerbread, marked by the bold contrast of bright pink and white. The central tower and roof ornamentation really make this an intriguing architectural pleasure.
