The SEA SPRITE Dreaded Tam, in sea greens and teals with hints of purple, boasts a little complementing tuft of handspun purple dreads on the crown. Five colour entarsia bobble bands, berry stitch, stripes and beautiful yarns make this hat a very special one for a special person.

The RAMBLING ROSE hat and mitts set is a sweet little child's sized outfit in stunning shades of pink, brown, gold and cream with touches of glitz. The earflap hat and mitts both have the same overall pattern of bobble bands, entarsia zigzags and stripes. The hat's spheroided tail is nice and fine with a fluffy tassel, adding elegance to the set.

Being strongly constructed by myself using freeform crochet techniques and no patterns, these unique hats and mitts should give their owners long, cosy wear.

The yarns used in these hats are a truly eclectic mix, including handspuns, pure Australian wool, mohair, beautiful Moda Vera yarns, synthetics and natural/synthetic combinations. Because the hats include natural fibres, I recommend gentle washing in lukewarm water and no tumble-drying.
