Uneasy lies the head- Black Crown Bow Brooch
Description
Canst thou, O partial sleep, give thy reposeTo the wet sea-boy in an hour so rude,
And in the calmest and most stillest night,
With all appliances and means to boot,
Deny it to a king? Then happy low, lie down!
Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown.
{From Shakespeare's Henry IV. Part II, 1597.}
This pretty brooch is made with a black and gold glass intaglio cabochon made in Czechoslovakia, set in a brass setting. It's hanging from a cute brass bow pin.
Classy and elegant!
