Industrial Elegance... Andromeda Revisited

Andromeda:: Named after the princess Andromeda in Greek mythology. A spiral galaxy approximately 2,500,000 light-years in the constellation Andromeda. It is the nearest spiral galaxy to our own, the Milky Way. As it is visible as a faint smudge on a moonless night, it is one of the farthest objects visible to the naked eye, and can be seen even from urban areas with binoculars.

Something a bit different in the Industrial line, I've discovered lock washers!!

Three different sized star lock washers are wired together to form a "tail" on one side of a large retaining ring getting smaller as they work their way down, A single small retaining ring is wired to the top of the larger one and suspended below a small silver bail... The whole pendant is enhanced with a single 8mm violet ab Swarovski crystal rivoli in the very center, a 10mm violet ab Swarovski crystal heart on one side on the bottom and 2 jet Swarovski teardrops one in 7mm and the other in 11mm on the other with a single 2.5mm jet Swarovski bicone above the "tail" to add that finishing touch... All on a delicate silver plated rolo chain.

Don’t let the fact that this item is made using “hardware” lead you to believe that it is bulky or heavy… All of my industrial elegance pieces will surprise you with how very lightweight and delicate they are!

****Please Note: The retaining rings used to create this piece were not made for jewelry, they are hardware for keeping pins in machinery so there will be color variations, I do my best to completely match the rings to each other but sometimes it just isn't possible... the fact that they are not uniform in color and cosistancy adds to the charm of these pieces and just reinforces the overall "Industrial" look

This necklace is 18 inches, with a 2 inch extender chain, if you need it a custom length please don't hesitate to contact me!
