MUMMY EVIL EYE MONSTER Brooch

Description

This abstract little piece is my original Happy Monster eye design, but with influences from the Evil Eye tradition of Turkey and Balkans. There, evil eye jewelry and trinkets are considered amulets that protect against bad luck.

The center of the piece is a hand drawn eye design on shrink plastic, that has been sealed and then given a shiny resin bubble. The eye is sewn into, and framed with contrasting pieces of vinyl. It's weatherproof!

The pin is approximately 2" in diameter. The pin back is silver tone with a rotating security clasp. All the layers are glued and sewn together at the center for extra confidence.

The Evil Eye Monster Brooch is subtly subversive. Wear it on your jacket, scarf or cardigan for good luck throughout your day.
