Description
Specimen no. 1 - The bisected human head anatomical modelThe dark green background is hand knitted fabric, over which I have needle felted an anatomical model of a human head (complete with knitted brain!), using a variety of fibers from wool to silk. The frame is an 8 x 10 inch black wood frame.
This is the beginning of a series of works titled: "aKNITomy," and comes signed and numbered.
