Crackeled ceramic buttons - frost blue

Description

These ceramic buttons are entirely handmade.
A lot of effort goes into making each one and the process for making takes quite some time.
They are bisque fired first, then glazed and fired again.
After they come out of the kiln, I apply black Indian ink to them to fill the crackles. Afterwards I rub the ink off.

The glaze is a beautiful crackled one which reminds of Raku firing.

These buttons are 2cm wide and aproximately 4mm thick.
