vintage GAME BIRD MUGS Set of 6 each different Unusual Ceramic
Description
Each of these mugs has a different bird: wood duck, American widgen, black duck, mallard, wild turkey, and Wilson's snipe.The names are in white, making them hard to see in the photos. They are signed Ned Smith and have no identifying markings other than a faint USA. All perfect, but for a rough bottom on one (see photo).
Each stands almost 4" high and almost 3" in diameter at the brims. A very nice set to use or to gift.
*Just last night I was watching the movie "The Right Stuff" (about the astronaut program in the early 1960's) and saw one exactly like the duck one being used by one of the actors. How cool is that.
