Miss Kathleen- The title is taken from the ephemera used in the original; a postcard postmarked from Hopkinsville Kentucky, 1907 to a Miss Kathleen Tilly in Clarksvile, TN.

Reproduction or fine art print of my Original mixed media piece of the same title. Sized 7.25 x 9.25 to fit perfectly inside an 11 x 14 mat with a 8 x 10 opening. You'll be able to buy an affordable pre-cut mat at your local craft store! Printed on archival, matte, Epson Velvet fine art paper, which has a texture similar to really good quality hot-press, watercolor paper using archival, pigmented Epson inks, rated lightfast for more than 100 years. Signed and dated on the front. Shipped USPS First Class in a resealable poly bag with a backing board, in a stiff cardboard mailer.

From the floral series, now entitled, Mod/Pop/Folk, 2006-2008. Mod posies with a nod toward my Pennsylvania Dutch folk art roots and a smidgen of "pop" thrown in for good measure. My first exposure to art in any form was in the studio of my Mennonite grandmother, who was a folk artist. These unique and recognizbly styled florals are my tribute to her. The palette consists of Apricot, orange and gold, yelow ochre, olive green, lime, kiwi, rust, burnt sienna, teal, turquoise and aqua, creamy Naples yellow, navy, fire-engine red and light Spring green.
