A Little Bit of Sea - Seagrass and Shell Photo Album

have you heard that saying that goes something like, "What once was old is new again?"

so describes this pretty and simple photo album.

the album was purchased on one of our vacations and never used. it sat, waiting to be loved, in a cabinet for several years.

recently, my family and I took a vacation to St. Augustine, Florida and we collected some truly wonderful shells.

this album is now adorned with some of those shells. called angel's wing shells (i'm sure they're known by other names, but that's what i've always called them) my children (ages 5 and 2) spent quite a bit of time combing the sand and surf looking for ones that had matching halves!

arranged in graduating size from largest (at the bottom) to smallest (at the top) and in varying hues...and just a couple extras for good measure that remind me of butterflies or birds on the wing.

the album measures 7.75" wide, 9.25" high and 1.5" deep. it holds 40 3"x5" photographs and is made of all-natural materials (well...as far as I can tell, anyway).
