Victorian gothic vintage fabric wrist cuff with antique beads - The Purple Serpent

Description

Shreds of Victorian lace netting lay nested over hand-dyed cotton lace trim and wool felt, both vintage. a length of 19th century jet bead trim runs the course of the cuff, terminating at the head with a vintage double-pronged buckle. Two tiny antique sequins provide detail.

Backed in black cotton fabric from an old cushion cover, the cuff closes with a previously unused 1930s fur hook and a vintage shoe buckle.

Measures 210mm long or 8 inches (including hook and buckle allowance) and 50mm at it's widest point, not counting shred trailings. This cuff will fit a medium to large wrist.
