Lampwork Boro Glass Focal Bead - Ocean Ridge

Lampwork Boro Glass Focal Bead - Ocean Ridge, a fabulous borosilicate focal round with lots of interest and depth. One edge is a darker shade of blue epitomizing the depths of the ocean while the other edge is a paler blue as might be seen closer to the edge. In between is a layer where you can see possibly shells or sea creatures.

The bead measures 20x16mm and was wound on a 3/32" mandrel. Please check my other listings for vinyl tubing that can be used to line these beads to keep them lined up nicely in your designs.

PLEASE NOTE: My lampwork beads are lovingly made by me in my studio in NY. I am a proud member of Self Representing Artists (SRA # 13). I generally use 3/32" mandrels unless otherwise noted. The beads go directly from flame into my digitally controlled kiln where they are annealed overnight for strength and logevity. The holes are thoroughly cleaned of bead release before being sent on their merry way.
