Necklace for Spider Woman, Creator Goddess

Description

A small jasper heart (3/4") is strung along with Czech clamshell beads, Czech glass discs and turquoise colored seed beads, to make a Southwestern (USA) inspired necklace. The necklace is 16" long (plus pendant).

Spider Woman is a goddess important to many US Southwestern tribes. She used the clay of the earth to create mankind in all its colors.

If you are interested in crystal/stone meanings, jasper was traditionally believed to be protective against snakebite and some poisons; it is used today to ground us, make us focus on practical needs, encourage enthusiasm and determination, and help in healing injuries.
