Season Cycle

Description

Part of the Peeking Moon Series; this piece was inspired by one of my Favourite XTC songs dealing with the cycle of life.
(Birth & Death, Sunrise and Sunset, Spring and Winter.)

The Sculls along with the Bali Prayer boxes represent Death and Life.
The Spirals on the bottom of the necklace, represent the cycle of life in many cultures. They also represent the changing seasons. If worn clockwise they represents Spring, counter clockwise,.. Winter.
The changing colours on the necklace represent the change from sunrise to sunset. I tried my darned-ness to get the complete colours of the sunset into the necklace. But there are still just too many colours up there for me to squeeze into a one strand necklace.

This necklace is one of a kind, and will never be duplicated. It is 18 inches, and is strung on 22 pound sturdy steel wire.
