japanese etch pendant

Description

This sterling silver pendant has a beautiful Japanese butterfly design etched into it which has been blackened. The exposed silver has a soft, muted finish.

The pendant is suspended on a deep red silk thread and has a handmade silver clasp and other findings.

Whenever I wear my own version of this pendant I always get a lot of comments from people about it - it's one of my favourite pieces to wear.

The length of the neckpiece is 43cm (16.9") - let me know if you would like this changed.

I can also change the colour of the silk thread if you'd like - I generally also have it available in soft pink, soft and deep green, grey, copper and black, but other colours may be possible.

The thread is designed for use with jewellery making and can be washed - and even ironed if required.

Note that I individually handmake all of my jewellery. The item you purchase may differ slightly from that photographed. This is part of the beauty of handmade work - no two pieces are ever identical.
