Yarn details: This is a top quality 100% SUPERWASH merino wool sock weight yarn. The gauge is 32 stitches to 4 inches on US #2 needles. The yarn was created and stored in a smoke-free/pet-free environment.

This is an extra-large skein of sock yarn, with 550 yards. That's enough for a pair of almost any socks imaginable, including knee-socks or men's socks for a basketball-player size foot! If you prefer women's anklets, you can even make two pair from this one skein.

Smoke Colorway: This yarn is rainbow dyed in varied shades of smoky gray with tinges of pearl/pinkish gray throughout. Rainbow dying is a process in which colors are added gradually to the dye pot throughout the dyeing process, resulting in a mosaic of color that can never be exactly duplicated.
