Small Wooden Hand-Painted sign with scripture quote from Proverbs 31

Description

This sign displays the verse that I strive for as a wife and mother. Proverbs 31 discusses the virtuous woman, and verse 30 says “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised (KJV).” The sign itself measures 7”Wx3”H and has an attached curly wire hanger. The leaves are pale green and yellow and are surrounded by a large pink dual-tone rose with two accompanying rosebuds. The verse is hand-lettered in a gorgeous shade of pink called light peony, which is also the lighter color on the roses, and I’ve coated the sign in a satin-finish polyurethane.

All my pieces have been hand-painted by me, so they’re not perfect or flawless. You may see some odd brushstrokes or some nicks, but that just adds to the charm of owning something hand crafted rather than machine-manufactured. I love to paint and I have fun doing it. I sincerely hope it brings you much joy and adds a bright spot to your life.
