RELISH textile art BASKET and BAKING DISH set

Description

I have taken a newly purchased baking dish and hand coiled a basket around it. The two were made for each other and are sold together. Perfect for the holidays!


The dish is Le Creuset pottery. It is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. It is a very pretty celery/relish green color. It has two small side end handles. The dish itself measures 7 inches long by 5 inches wide. It is 2 inches deep. This little size is especially nice for hot dips or appetizers.


The basket has been made with colors to compliment the dish.
It features a mix of greens, shades of orange, some golden yellow and black.

The low basket has no handles. This way it could be used as a serving vessel on the table. It actually acts like a large trivet. The snug fit makes it an easy combo to transport,even when the dish is hot.
And once you arrive at your destination, this pair makes a great presentation at any special dinner.
Bring it to the potluck supper, gift it as a housewarming or present it as a hostess gift with your favorite recipe baked inside. I'll even include a free recipe card for you to fill out.

My gourds are not included.


My baskets are made by the coiling method of basketry. Strips of fabric (both new and recycled) are wrapped around an inner cording as the shape is formed. The inner cording makes them sturdy.
Each one is entirely handmade with no machine stitching.
Each one is unique.
