Mini Recycled Slide Books
Description
Tiny 2"x2" books are made from entirely recycled materials!The 35mm slides that comprise the front and back covers were trashpicked on an art school campus at the end of a semester. They have a student's name written on every one (facing inside the book) and often some hand drawn arrows.
The pages of the books are made from junk mail, magazine clippings (the portions I would normally discard after harvesting images for collage) and some small trimmings of post-consumer waste recycled paper that was left over from making other bound books. The plastic coil which binds these together is scrap from larger books.
