I made this beautiful fused glass dichroic pendant by handcutting, sanding and firing black dichroic glass with rainbow colors in my kiln (2-3 firings, the first at a temperature of 1465), capping it with clear glass (which adds depth to the piece), and letting it cool slowly (annealing) which prevents cracking and adds strength and durability to the piece. Finally, I attached a silver bail to the glass.

Dichroic glass shimmers and looks like shiny foil and has texture, it's amazing! This piece has hues of royal blue/purple and aqua blues, reds, and yellows surrounded by a stunning black background. It looks like a rainbow!

This pendant measures "1 x3/4", please see my additional photos for size perspective, it's bigger than a penny. The chain is included, it is an inexpensive one I added in, you might want to purchase a higher quality chain to really accent this piece.

This pendant really sparkles and is great focal piece! You'll get tons of compliments and you can say I bought it on Etsy, it's handmade!
