Amethyst and Millefiori Necklace
Description
Marguerite NecklaceConstructed of 2 strands of polished Amethyst nuggets with a Millefiori glass pendant made in Italy. The large glass cabochon is blood red with inclusions of copper that mimics a real stone; it’s mounted in sterling silver and measures approx. 7/8" x 1-1/2" from the top of the bail. It’s finished off with a sterling silver tube clasp. The necklace itself is 15” long. My neck measures approx.
13-1/2" - 14" and the necklace sits comfortably at the base of my neck.
The photograph doesn't do the necklace justice, the stones are a rich purple with lighter inclusions, the color in the photo is a bit darker then real life.
Amethyst is crystalline quartz. It’s also February’s birthstone and is said to bring serenity, peace, mental balance and pleasant dreams.
