Vintage Faux Book STASH BOX

Description

Do you have things you don't want other people to find? So do I. That's why I build these faux book, stash boxes.

These book boxes are made from the original Encyclopedia covers and end papers. I have replaced the pages and binding with a sturdy foam board spine and walls. These hollow books can bear the weight of the entire collection with their pages still intact, that's over 30 pounds!

There are 11 book boxes still available. Pick your favourite cover, number or letter combination from the following list:

1. aba-ani - cover shows greek pottery detail, end-papers are pea-soup green.
5. civ-def - cave art cover, endpapers are bright orange.
9. hip-jas - spiral galaxy cover, babyblue endpapers.
11.lon-mir - brass pot relief on cover, yellow endpapers.
13.nut-pik - delf ship tile cover, lavender endpapers.
14.pil-raf - stained glass window cover, gold endpapers.
16.sca-spo - Mona Lisa on the cover, forest green endpapers.
17.spo-the - fantastic boat balloon, yellow endpapers.
18.the-vin - Iroqois village, orange endpapers.
19.vin-zwi - illuminated manuscript cover with orange endpapers.
20. index and maps - cross sectional drawing of a dome on a blue back ground.

Additional shelves and various shelf combinations can be arranged.

The outside measures 10.5 x 7.5 x .75 inches.
The inside is slightly smaller at 9.5 x 6.5 x .75 inches.
