Fused Plastic Zippered Pouch

Description

This is a product of my newest craft obsession: fused plastic!
Made entirely of recycled plastic bags, multiple layers are heat-fused together into a surprisingly strong and tough material. It feels similar to a thick tyvek, it's durable and permanent, and it's waterproof! This is a material perfectly suited for pouches to hold cosmetics or toiletries when travelling. If your shampoo spills or leaks, the mess won't get all over your suitcase or purse. Cleanup is easy- just rinse out the pouch and let it air dry.

This zippered pouch has a really cool black and purple Op-Art design on it. The outermost layer was a bag from The Exporatorium, a San Francisco science museum. The inside layer (lining) is a yellow. Closes at the top with a zipper.
