The Diaper Bag Pattern by Craft Apple

Description

Designed with the busy mom in mind, this bag has room for diapers, wipes, bottles, mom’s essentials, and an additional exterior side sippy cup pocket for a thirsty toddler. An easy-access cell phone pocket makes it easy for mom to find her ringing phone.

This pattern is printed in an easy to handle booklet format.

All pieces in this pattern are rectangular with measurements of each piece included. Actual cut-out pattern pieces are NOT included. A large rotary mat and cutter are highly recommended for making this bag.

Fabric Requirements
*3/4 yard 44” decorator-weight fabric
*1/2 yard 44” coordinating decorator weight fabric
*5/8 yard 44” light-colored cotton canvas or duck for
lining of bag (a light-colored fabric will make finding
items in the bag easier)

Materials needed
*Coordinating thread
*1/2 yard fusible fleece
*2½ yards lightweight fusible interfacing
*¼ yard Peltex® craft stabilizer or a small 10” x 12 ½” piece
*2” sew-in hook and loop fastener (i.e. Velcro®)
*1 magnetic snap (1/2” size)
*8 inches of 1/2” wide elastic
*Large cutting mat
*Rotary cutter

Approximate dimensions of finished bag:
12” wide x 5” deep x 11” tall
