Summer Sailing Handpainted Eggshell Brooch

Description

This pin is handpainted using a real goose egg shell with a soft sky done in phathalo blue, pink & white. The ocean is painted in shades of ultramarine blue, purple & white. The burgandy & gray sailboat makes up the foreground. The sailboat is painted in acrylic and the sky and ocean are painted in watercolor, using a special coloring technique.

The pin is 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" in width. It comes ready to wear, with a pin attached to the back. It also comes displayed on a lovely ribbon and can also be worn that way as a necklace.

The pin has been sprayed with a protective coating to give it a beautiful shine and protect the design. Signed and dated by me on the back.

Eggshell pins are sturdy pieces of jewelry and can be worn everyday.
