Shibori silk scarf - Boat Drink
Description
Hand dyed satin/chiffon stripe silk scarf in the Arashi Shibori technique. I use only fiber reactive dyes for this process which means that the dye permanetly bonds to the silk and leaves no texture. All you feel is the silk itself. Due to the nature of the dye process, this scarf is original and can not be duplicated. The satin/chiffon stripe silk is a wonderful combination of two tyes of silk with a dramatic effect. This scarf is approx 8"x54" and is dyed with turquise, magenta and cayman isle green. A must see to appreciate the vivid color and flare of satin & chiffon silk together.Added on Dec 01, 2009
