View from the Gazebo (original painting, unframed)

STORY:
"View from the Gazebo" was painted en plein air in City Park of downtown Glens Falls, inside the gazebo and facing toward the Queensbury Hotel. This was created as part of the 2006 Elements of Art Plein Air event and was displayed in the Elements of Art gallery in the Troy Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, New York. It's a wonderfully surreal landscape, dreamlike and very different from your usual park scene! If you love bright colours, this one's for you! The dark purple and magenta just leap off the page - I used up a lot of paint on this piece!

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
This is an original of Kate E. Austin's artwork. The size is approximately 26" x 34" (66.04 cm x 86.36 cm) and was painted with high-quality professional-grade watercolors on Lanaquarelle watercolor paper that was first coated with gesso to create that unique texture. It is signed by the artist and is one-of-a-kind... No prints have ever been made of this piece!
