Description
Photography based collageThis work combines an original photograph printed with ink jets on watercolor paper with found paper, an Italian love letter, a photocopy of an original photograph, and part of a sewing pattern. The collage elements are fused with beeswax onto a 3/4 inch piece of plywood.
This piece is part of a series of work through which I am exploring feelings of fragmentation, and yearning for a true sense of place.
'Beside Beneath' is 10" wide x 17" high and is wired on the back for easy hanging.
