"My Little Chickadees" measures 14" x 14" and is handcrafted from several different exotic and domestic woods.
Included in this particular piece is Black Walnut, Wenge, Paduak, Aspen, Yellowheart, Beech, African Mahogany, Goncalo Alves, Poplar, blue Buckeye,and Ebony. It is finished with a beautiful lacquer clear-coat to preserve the naturally occurring colors of these domestic and exotic woods. Then a high-quality furniture paste wax is buffed into the surface for even more protection...
The colors ARE the wood - no stain is used.

Each piece has been carefully hand-selected and matched for color, grain, and strength. After selection, each piece is carefully cut, contoured, and finished(hours of hand-
sanding go into each Intarsia piece) to be unbelievably soft and silky to the touch as well as appealing to the eye.
