Peruvian Opal Sterling Silver Wirewrapped Leather Necklace

Description

This blue Peruvian opal nugget is so pretty that I had to showcase it in a necklace. I didn't want to distract from the stone, so I decided to wrap it with sterling silver wire to make a pendant, with Swarovski crystals dangling from the bottom.

The Peruvian opal measures 5/8 x 7/8 inches. The pendant hangs from tan leather lace, that is wrapped with sterling silver wire at the ends, giving it a rustic charm. The total pendant including the bail and crystal dangles, is 1 5/8 inches long. A Bali sterling silver "S" hook clasp fastens the necklace which measures 16 1/4 inches long.

If you would like this necklace longer, just put the length in the notes, and I will adjust it for you.
