Turquoise and silver scrollwork pendant on sterling silver faceted ballchain

What a lovely pendant this is. Sterling silver scrollwork surrounds a nice rectangle of turqoise; with a decorated bail - all hanging from a flashy, 'faceted ball chain.'

Now that I do my own silversmithing work (but not on this piece) I can APPRECIATE how hard & time consuming this kind of scrollwork is to do. Clean and decorative, this pendant is signed and stamped as sterling ( '925' ).

Also I searched far and wide (and finally imported them) to find these FACETED ball-chains. I love them because of the faceting they pick up and reflect light from all angles. PRETTY!

The pendant from the tip of the bail to the bottom scrollwork is just under 1 & 1/2" and the chain is 16". It's a nicely weighted piece and would look just at home with jeans and t-shirt or dressing up a summer sundress.
