elevate . tall cabinet

Description

The design of this tall free-standing cabinet was originally inspired by graffiti and urban art. The choice of materials and their finish played a major role in establishing this look.

Baltic birch plywood was used for all the storage components. Concrete was used for the base, and features a small inset drawer. The pulls, stands, and feet were machined out of aluminum to accent the design of the cabinet. They feature very slight and delicate angles to break the overpowering rectilinear quality of the piece. The glass features multiple arrows etched onto it, partially covering what's kept inside. This adds movement to the piece and references graffiti in a more subdued manner.
