Hot Pink Fuzzy - Spicey Beaded Necklace

Description

This creation took many many hours of patient weaving and consists of 155 grams (about 5.5 oz) of mostly teeny tiny seed beads. The technique is branched fringe on a base of free form Peyote with a focal piece of 3 drop brick stitch (also known as Comanche stitch). For contrast, one of the three rows of brandhed fringe includes silver lined lime green Japanese triangle beads. The closure is a lampwork bead and loop ensuring that even the most metal sensitive can wear this necklace. The balance is such that the weight is evenly distributed making this a comfortable piece of jewelry to wear as well as an exciting one.

The inside diamter is 15.5 in. (39.4 cm).

The necklace comes wrapped in colorful tissue ensconed in a silver satin gift bag.

Unfortunately, shipping internationally is made complicated by the variety of prices imposed by both the Post Office as well as other shippers. Connecticut residents must pay 6% sales tax on the necklace (NOT ON SHIPPING)
