MERMAID I - hand beaded mermaid art doll with goldflecked face and fabulous flowing shell and stone studded hair
Description
This is my first mermaid art doll.I drew the figure on ultrasuede and beaded it by hand. The face has been set aside for this purpose for awhile, I think it just looks like an undersea treasure.
Her face is surrounded with gold and turquoise delicas sewn in peyote stitch and her hair is tiny seed beads accented with bits of shell and stone chips of various colors. She holds a bouquet of iridescent flowers and fruit.
I've added a small loop, if you would like to hang her, but she looks lovely reclining with her hair waving as it would in the sea.
The doll measures 4.5" tall by 3.5" wide. She is lovely!
