Gloriously clear and rich russet red carnelian forms the body of this tribute to epic Russian novels. In the center then hangs a faceted chunk of lovely black stone (whose name I unfortunately don't know), with beautiful stripes of milky white crystals and even slight hints of red that echo the carnelian. Finished with a sterling silver S-clasp and just shy of 19 inches long. The kind of necklace to be worn to aristocratic balls of a bygone era.
